Good to hear your flights were good, and that your trip was enjoyable. You go to the south island by any chance? Or just used AKL to get to Tahiti?

BTW Auckland is not the Capital of NZ, Wellington is

Oops, apologies, can't believe I made that mistake after spending two whole weeks in your wonderful country, north and south.

Best wishes

Yes it is my personal website. I use the iweb software, which has its frustrations, but is a solution for those of us who don't do code.

Best wishes

Very interesting site, I love your travels! Some of them mirror mine in fact. I want to set up a site of my own when I have the time. I especially enjoyed reading about La Reserve in Geneva (I love Genevè!), I hadn't even heard of this hotel. I have stayed at the FS Hotel des Bergues and Beau Rivage, both very nice.

Thank you for your kind comments. La Reserve is a fine place to stay for a long weekend. We are hoping to post more from NZ soon.

Glad you enjoyed the service on NZ .. For domestic on the jets we have peak and off peak offerings .. It sounds like you saw our off peak offerings .. If you were on board mon-fri in the morning a light breakfast is served muesli with fruit and yoghurt or a muffin .. The peak night services get cheese boards or bagels with hummas and free alcohol .

Thanks Nzrich. We travelled from Auckland to Queenstown on a Monday morning and got no more than some dry biscuits and tea/coffee. I guess we must have had an unusual experience!

Nice, I'm scared of those little huts above the water though. I need to keep my feet firmly planted on land. You need some updates! Not since March!  Smile

Excellent TR very well presented! Glad you had a good time coming down under!
NZ has announced that the 733s (domestic aircraft) will be replaced by new A320. No doubt these will be fitted with proper IFE like the longhaul fleet albeit probably with less options (being that domestic flights are mostly around 1 hour only).
56 types. 38 countries. 24 airlines.
