"Singapore Airlines has the largest fleet of Boeing 777%u2019s in the world with a total of 31 B777-200%u2019s, 15 B777-200ER%u2019s, 12 Boeing 777-300%u2019s and 18 Boeing 777-300ER%u2019s, with a total of 76 B777 aircraft. "

I am sorry but this title is now taken by Emirates as it has 77 Boeing 777's and it is also the only airline that has all the types of 777's .

"With priority baggage for Business Class passengers I collected my bag and was past customs 14 minutes from the time the aircraft arrived at the gate. "

That is very impressive but unfortuneatly these things never happen in Dubai even if your flying in Bussiness , mainly due to it being a huge airport and also due to stupid slow baggage system in DXB.

On the whole , it is a really a good report ,but more picture's would make it even better!

Great TR-SQ seems to offer a solid product on the MLE-SIN route. Of course the Regional J product is miles behind their 'intercontinental' J cabin. I guess it's perfectly adequate for a sector like MLE-SIN though.
Clearing all the procedures in 14 minutes is pretty impressive, and an added boon to the whole experience.
Thanks for sharing Big grin !

I stand corrected , maybe I just want to give credit to emirates?!?!
Anyway SQ is still number 1 in consistency and inflight service.

Also, I don't think Singapore Airlines has any 777-200 (non-ER versions).
Some of the 777s are configured for regional travel but they are all the ER versions

Can someone correct me?

Nice report

Quote:
The aircraft I flew on, 9V-SKL, is fitted in SQ’s Regional configuration with 30 Business Class (2-3-2) seats 293 Economy Class seats (3-3-3).

Is not 9V-SKL a 3 class aircraft? In fact I thought SQ only sent 9V-SRx aircraft to Male. Perhaps you are mistaken and you travelled on 9V-SRL?

9V-SKL would be the rego for the A380. I think you meant either SQL or SRL...

PJ - Thanks for the report. Was hoping to see some pictures of the meals. Any idea if they were catered ex-SIN or MLE?
