Actual Departure: 08:55
Actual Arrival: 09:27
Flight Duration: 0h, 32m
With Friday off and a special free admission offer, I decided to spend my day at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, in Boston. I am a huge Kennedy fan and this had been a museum I’ve always longed to visit.
Woke up early and made my way to Delta’s Marine Air Terminal to catch the 7:30 flight. Unfortunately, I left my ID on the kitchen counter and had to go back home and back to LGA to catch the 8:30. The terminal is set off apart from the main terminal at LGA. It has a very 1950’s feel to it and reminded me very much of Long Beach Airport in California.

Boarding was slightly delayed and open seating. Very courteous and professional crew, two of the three attendants were former Eastern and Pan Am. I was shocked at the light load, there were no more than 40 passengers aboard.
The A319 (ex-NWA) was spotless, awesome leather seats with great legroom, another shocker.
Interior looked brand new.
Liftoff and the USAirways terminal I’d come back to.
Hazy Manhattan skyline
The flight went by very quickly. I had an OJ and had a great chat with the ex-Pan Am flight attendant.
Barely visible tip of Provincetown, Cape Cod.
Rear deplaning at Boston, another nice surprise
ex-NWA looks great in the new Delta colors.
The impressive arrivals hall in Terminal A, Boston.
Next up… photos from The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum and my return flight on the USAirways Shuttle.
