Well this trip report is from last year... anyway better late than never...
My cousin invited me to ski in Lake Tahoe on December 2010, however he was driving from Harlingen. I was also departing out of Harlingen Airport and the best fare was from Southwest flying HRL-HOU-LAX-RNO-SAN-HOU-HRL rather than flying AA or CO which was very expensive almost $1600 rt while SW was $813 plus $10 for the priority boarding.

So... the day finally arrived December 25th 2010...
Southwest 2161 HRL-HOU Boeing 737-500
Our plane just in from Austin into gate 5 and getting ready for departure to HOU.

At Gate 5

With priority boarding I got in the second line to board and perfect to grab a windows behind the wing, view after boarding
Safety demonstration was performed by the friendly crew, also they take note about what would we like to drink after departure, after a short taxi to runway 35L we took of and head north to HOU.
Taxing to 35L:
Ready to go, cargo terminal:
Rolling down 35L the small terminal in HRL:
Somewhere near CRP:
And after almost 35 minutes we began our approach into HOU, IIRC we landed on runway 4, on approach:
At the gate:
On time arrival into HOU, after exiting the airplane and having a look at the monitors searching for the gate of flight 1467 to LAX and continuing service to RNO. After arriving to the gate boarding was starting so again group 2 to board the 737-700 to LAX... Pictures:
Nice! WIFI 737!

On board and ready to go to LAX and RNO!
After pushback!
Another SWA 737 getting prepare for his next mission:
Video of the departure on runway 4 to LAX:
Climbing out of Houston, a couple of stadiums:
the last minutes of sun:
On approach to LAX:
Final approach over Los Angeles:
Parked at terminal 1 http://i1139.photobucket.com/albums/n552/meneses00/164786_10150110760306066_700056065_8100822_7673923_n.jpg

We landed, and those continuing to Reno did not deplaned and just waited for the new passengers to come on board, after that we pushback again and departed on 24L for a 1 hour flight to Reno, arriving on time to a very cold Reno! and then my cousin picked me up and we drove to Lake Tahoe.

Overall experience with Southwest was great! Service was very nice on the flight to LAX which lasted nearly 3 hours and 35 mins FA came several times offering drinks and snacks, WiFi was very easy to use.
I would defiantly fly SWA again!

Nice trip report, glad you enjoyed WN. Flew with them last summer from GSP to FLL and was very pleased.
