Thai Suite : Heaven Means TG Part 2..

Fri Dec 30, 2011 4:34 pm

Hello folks...

Yes once again, a TR with TG in F... SO boring... Sorry for that.

I've published the inbound few weeks ago, it's now time to focus on the outbound.

I'm ready to go and my wife is ready to see her relatives in ALG. We will both fly out.

Check in CDG : Reaching CDG at 7pm I headed to the FC counter, I checked online, however due to a late booking I couldn't choose the A side (my favourite). Got 2K...

Lounge Star First à CDG : I've been there several times, it's such a shame... I can't figure out why Star has set up that sh(u)t. Way below my expectation.

Boarding : Delayed 30 min. The same gound staff is awaiting, Mr XXX How are you today, I'm happy to see you again.. When talked abt 20 min.. I love that, being acknowledged ! Then it was time to board. Despite the line up, I was one of the first to step in thank to the lady. I hope to see her again on my next F TG flight in January.

Nifty trip report! Love the photos!

I have to say I am impressed with how dressed up you are! I'm always amazed at just how sloppy people dress when flying in the U.S....even in first. Of course first class on a U.S. domestic flight is basically like premium economy on a foreign carrier... LOL

Of course the big question is....do you buy your own clothes or just wear what the wifey tells you?!

Wow. Thanks for the report. Nice to see how the 1% on the plane live. If I ever get enough frequent flyer points I will certainly try Thai.

They used to fly to New York but stopped the service.

Thanks for another nice TG F report

I will do the same flight in two weeks time in F with my GF, and I am really looking forward to stepping back into a TG F cabin

Just out of curiosity; we are staying at hotel in central Paris (by the Eifel tower) and will use a car service to CDG. How early do we have to leave to be at CDG at 7 PM? This will be on Friday evening if that matters.

Thanks again for a nice report, and for any advise on when to leave the hotel

Cheers
Stein

Thanks, being well dressed before a meeting is mandatory. However, thanks god I don't have to fly all the time dressed like that. I love wearing a shirt, converse, jean...

I buy my own clothe, as a French I do know how to get dressed. My wife is well aware on how to follow the trend...

They still fly to LAX with a 2 cabins. However grab a ticket to europe in Y and treat you TG in F.

By 6PM. Yesterday it took me 45 min to reach CDG from Opéra.

Unless you want to make dome duty free, it's useless to be there at 7pm. 8pm is fine. Nevertheless it's up to you !

Enjoy the flight with your wife, I don't have enough time to fly with my spouse as I fly to Asia for a day max 24 hours.

Waiting your TR.

Take care to all of you !

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated

We are heading to SYD, with a 4 hour stopover in BKK, so we have two flights and a total of 20 hours in TG F on the 777-300 and the 340-600

O.K. Fair enough! You should see how people dress when they are flying in America!

Also a pleasure to see your F suite report on THAI! Not boring at all!
I really love this main course presentation on THAI.
Food look amazing and can fill my stomach from CDG to Australia perhaps lol
I love seeing people dressing up for flights. It's a way to respect the public and the given environment.
You can't be too lazy to pick what to wear, right?
THanks again.

Thanks for a nice trip report.

I think these leased 77W from Jet Airways is a great addition to TGs fleet.
Does anyone know for how long TG will keep them?

I saw a Thai board meeting transcript a while back and it said that all the leased Jet 77Ws will leave TG in 2015.

I hope their own 77Ws will have similar cabin designs when they arrive around the same time.
