Excellent focus - foreground buildings are real sharp and background sharp enough. Draws interest from front to back!

A visitor from United States posted Tue March 21, 2006:
Midway always fasinates me because of its placement. This photo demontrasts the closeness perfectly.

A visitor from United States posted Tue March 7, 2006:
This spectacular picture of the approach into Midway Airport from the west shows the terminal (made famous in Alfred Hitchcock movies), the VERY short runway, and the beautiful downtown Chicago skyline.

A visitor from United States posted Wed March 1, 2006:
This is a spectacular photo. The detail is great. And Nick was a little lucky with the weather, too. This really makes you appreciate how well pilots do thier jobs - oh, and the planes do pretty well, too.

A visitor from United States posted Wed March 1, 2006:
Absolutely beautiful shot. I live in Chicago and I think it has one of the nicest skylines. I love it. - My new wallpaper.

Great shot! Thanks.

A visitor from United States posted Mon February 27, 2006:
It truely shows how tight and compact mdw is, and how you cannot be behind the aircraft.

A visitor from Bermuda posted Sat February 25, 2006:
My 5star rating refers to both photo and description of lighting, something I knew absolutely nothing about. As a passenger I probably will never see the lights on approach, but will look for them upon landing

Nice shot, special the city in the background

A visitor from United States posted Tue September 6, 2005:
Well I like to see a company-ship in another perspective than normal spotters can do. That's rare! He has to have a very good (and expenisve) camera because of the zooming.
