Beautiful picture of actual aircraft before it was blown up over lockerbie, you can only imagine the truma it must have seen I have only ever seen its nose on its side in a scotish field its nice (as they say 'putting a name to a face')or in this case to see the complete aircraft in all its glory superb.

Aircraft: N739PA (741). Route: LHR-JFK. 243 Passengers, 16 Crew Members. Plastic explosive had been detonated in the airplane's forward cargo hold, triggering a sequence of events that led to the rapid destruction of the aircraft in the town of Lockerbie.
