A visitor from Germany posted Wed August 13, 2008:Wow is all I can say, this is absolutely marvelous! I really want to be a pilot.. sadly I'm still 12 but I practice a lot on MFS and I know some people who are pilots. I really enjoy flying and wish to be an Airbus pilot one day. The shot could have been slightly better if it was flying at night with the panel lights on, however it's still incredible. One thing bothers me though... doesn't it seem very strange to be flying the World's LARGEST airliner using just a less than half-foot joystick? o_O

A visitor from Netherlands posted Thu August 23, 2007:Great picture of a great cockpit! I was surprised by seeing Windows operating software on the computer screens. I thought Airbus would probably have written their own OS... Furthermore, I'm surprised by seeing that the captain must fly the plane left-handed, while the FO is flying right-handed (check the joysticks). I'm right-handed myself, and I would probably be a bit confused as captain. Try for example to control your mouse with your not-used-to-hand... However, I'm not a captain (unfortunately) and I assume they're having enough training to get used to it :P.

No ambidextrous joystick?, it's called pick a seat right/left it doesn't you can customize which lcd displays what. No cup holder?, you get up and kick back with a cup of joe with the cute stewardess as auto pilot technology can even land this big fat bird on its own.
