A visitor from United States posted Sat November 11, 2006:This image capturesso many'WAKE' related characteristics in 1 image, it is without doubt the most amazing image of this simultaneosly beautiful and potentially life threatening event. The image captured the decompression vapor over the wings- what appears to be tighter wound vortices off the flaps, and the generation ultimately of monster sized vortices from the wingtips themselves. Fabulous - and to some degree - very lucky catch.
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Tue August 22, 2006:Never seen anything like it ever before, this is one of a kind. It's a great catch.
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon August 21, 2006:I rate this 5* because it's a picture that shows an effect which is so hard to catch, also the way the photographer has managed to bring out the colours in the vortices
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon August 21, 2006:Nice exposure and white balance... tis a damn good shot!
A visitor from United States posted Tue August 8, 2006:It clearly shows both the wingtip vortices and the flap end vortices that form due to localized low pressure there. Misting on top also shows localized low pressure. And it's just a cool look with white whispy shapes and sharp airplane foreground.
A visitor from Canada posted Tue August 8, 2006:It rox
A visitor from Switzerland posted Sat August 5, 2006:If the Pilots would have a mirror to take a look back... ;-)

A visitor from United States posted Fri April 28, 2006:Beautiful shot of decompression vapor above the wings, of tight vortices off the flaps, and huge vortices from the wingtips! You don't plan shots like this... you luck into them!
A visitor from Canada posted Wed April 26, 2006:Another great shot by Steve Morris. The visible trailer and wing vortex capture the dynamics of the 757's tremendous wake. Morris' other images also play with shadow, mist, fog, natural lighting and the sky to make the wake visible. Quite a uniqe perspective. Well done again!
A visitor from United States posted Sun April 16, 2006:Awesome pic
A visitor from Germany posted Thu April 13, 2006:On this photo one can see why the 757 is in the heavy wake catagory eventhough it has less weight and size than normal heavy aircraft. Very nice photo. Thanks

A visitor from United States posted Sun March 5, 2006:Soweeeet that's probably one of the most amazing shot's I've ever seen. Once in a lifetime (ok maybe twice) but still, the weather and airplane have to be just perfect to get that kind of effect.
