A visitor from United States posted Mon October 30, 2006: The concorde is on permanent display. The Intrepid acts as a museum and his been there for years upon years. The SR-71 has been there for aslong as I can remember! Last week it was announced that the Intrepids' location will be change to another location in Manhattan. And you can find it everyday, as it is there everyday. just not everywhere. |

I love going to the Intrepid. You can go aboard the Concord on your Intrepid ticket with no extra cost, and I believe same thing with the submarine. And I think that's the circle-line boat dock off to the right of the pic. |
A visitor from Argentina posted Sat August 19, 2006: Nice pic! |

A visitor from United States posted Wed July 26, 2006: Excellent shot! In October, the Intrepid will be towed to a dry dock for rennovations and the pier you see here will be completely rebuilt (to include, among other things, a permanent housing for Concorde). The whole process will take about 18 months, so be sure to stop by while you still can!
And, for the person wondering which submarine is docked off to the side -- it's the USS Growler.
Job well done, Kamil. |
