The moment is one in a million. Hope it never happens again though.

A visitor from - posted Mon May 12, 2008:
Wow you captured it right on time , the pilots must be thinking " EPIC FAIL " .

A visitor from United States posted Mon December 3, 2007:
No serious damage to the aircraft & somebody is still inside the cockpit.

A visitor from United States posted Wed November 28, 2007:
Still an outstanding "spur of the moment" photo. The peoples reactions be captured shows only emphasizes it all the more.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Tue November 27, 2007:
I was there to see this... although certainly not funny for the guys in the plane it was an almost comic moment to watch - bit of a bumpy grass landing but the plane had almost come to a standstill when the nosewheel caught in a rut and it just flipped.
Bit like a cyclist hetting the kerb and going over the handlebars !

A visitor from United States posted Wed October 31, 2007:
I had a sinking feeling the minute I saw this photo! What an incredible capture.

A visitor from France posted Mon October 1, 2007:

I think it's the longest seconds in the pilot's life!

A visitor from United States posted Thu July 19, 2007:
This photo is obviously a rare gem. How often do you see an amateur photo of an aircraft mid-crash?

A visitor from United States posted Thu July 19, 2007:
Catching an airplan standing on it's nose with the folks clearly visible? Amazing.

A visitor from Italy posted Fri July 6, 2007:
Great!!!

A visitor from United States posted Wed July 4, 2007:
A sad ending to the plane. i was going to build one of those but i built a midget mustang instead. the emotion and fear of the pilots was captured perfectly.

A visitor from United States posted Wed June 27, 2007:
OUCH that must have hurt! What a catch, details are splendid.Hope thay can fix her.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed June 27, 2007:
Well captured moment. I was there and it was not a pleasant thing to witness. Hope the two onboard are ok. It must have been an awful few seconds, as the aircraft paused very briefly while vertical before completing the tumble. There was a very fast and effective response from the nearby pilots - a credit to the aviation community.

A visitor from Croatia posted Tue June 26, 2007:
Right time, nice shot, bad luck

Simply amazing

A visitor from United States posted Wed June 20, 2007:
The timing of the photograph is excellent. You can see the pilot's instinctual physical reaction as well as the motion of the prop breaking up.

A visitor from United States posted Wed June 20, 2007:
Excellent timing and detail.

A visitor from Brazil posted Wed June 20, 2007:
Oh my god! Most impressive shot I've ever seen here.

A visitor from United States posted Wed June 20, 2007:
Very dynamic photo! I love how you can see the spinner tearing into the ground and the pilots bracing for the impact. Hope everyone was ok!

A visitor from United States posted Wed June 20, 2007:
Wow, talk about being at the right place at the right time with camera in hand!! I trust everything was ok in the end!!!

A visitor from United States posted Wed June 20, 2007:
This is simply amazing! To catch the event in the process ... the map flying around, clearly visible in the canopy, along with the guys trying to brace themselves ... and the propeller tearing itself to pieces while it chews the turf. An absolutely incredible photo. Here's hoping the folks involved were no more than just a little shaken ...

A visitor from United States posted Wed June 20, 2007:
Wow, what timing to catch this one!

A visitor from Australia posted Wed June 20, 2007:
What timing to capture the moment and clarity!! i think this picture will be doing the rounds on the internet
