Remark Photographer
58-7055 / AV-7055 In the late 50’s, Avro of Canada got a contract with the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army to develop the Avrocar. Which was found unsatisfactory for forward flight but a somewhat suitable VTOL craft for near ground operation. AV-7055 was on display at a “Theme Pavilion” during Expo ’67 in Montreal. It served for wind tunnel tests but never flew.

This photo is realy retro cool!
What an interesting aircraft and the USAF markings make it look like something from lost in space or the twilight zone.
