An excelent picture of KLM Boeing 747-406 landing at St. Maarten (Princess Juliana). The best I could get is KLM DC-9 taking off from Teesside Airport (Durham Tees Valley)in my home town in England which wouldn't be very exciting. |

I feel the power behind this shot! To be the one person standing on the beach as you hear deep rumbling of the engines hover over you and to feel the rumble at your feet simulatenoously has to be remarkable. What a breath taking capture, thank you. |

The klm jetliner looks so graceful as it passes over the shoreline. adding to the intensity of the picture are the people staring upward as the aircraft passes overhead. if only we could add sound to the picture. the aircraft, the people and the water make for a lovely picture. A very crystal clear picture. Nice work. The colour of the plane, the beach and water make it a nice mix.
These pilots must be real experts to be landing in places like these, especially when you have a crowded beach full of people and to fly so low.
