CS-TMR (cn 293B-1241) After 40 minutes the passengers were allowed to leave the aircraft. DCA flight K8 2000 had to abort its take off roll after an engine compressor stall or surge. The aircraft's brakes and strut had severe damage. The aircraft couldn't move by itself nor be towed so the runway was blocked all day. Huge trucks were needed to move the aircraft to a proper location.
