Are u sure that the birds aren't attached to the plane itself?

A visitor from Jamaica posted Wed September 10, 2008:
I see we got companies, nature VS technology. Nice shot i hope there was no bird strike.

A visitor from - posted Wed June 18, 2008:
I hope none of the birds got in the turbines! Great shot!

Strictly for the birds.

A visitor from Venezuela posted Mon March 10, 2008:
If Alfred Hitchcock was alive, he would certainly be proud of this picture. Good picture for a movie: The Birds and the British Airways jetliner.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed January 23, 2008:
I wouldn't want to be one of those birds. Just imagine if you got sucked in!

Good shot!

A visitor from New Zealand posted Sat December 30, 2006:
You only get one chance of a shot like this the right place at the right time.

A visitor from Canada posted Mon October 23, 2006:
An absolutely wonderful shot, however, none of you bird-lovers or passenger types need worry. this talented photographer used specific timing for this shot. Check the plane and how clear and sharp it is, now see that each and every bird is out of focus and none are near the fuselage of the aircraft. one more note the plane is on approach, not on take-off, flaps seem to set at 40 degrees...

A visitor from Bulgaria posted Fri September 22, 2006:
Maybe Hitchcock would love it, but I think the pilots didn't

A visitor from India posted Thu August 17, 2006:
Race between nature and humans!!

A visitor from United States posted Sat August 5, 2006:
Whoa. 'Nuff said.

A visitor from United States posted Wed August 2, 2006:
What is the landing speed of a 757, and what kind of birds fly that fast?

A visitor from New Zealand posted Wed August 2, 2006:
I am unnerved by what would happen if the plane was a little higher. So far, so good!

A visitor from Slovenia posted Sat July 22, 2006:
Birds like the Speedbird!!!

A visitor from United States posted Wed June 21, 2006:
Wow what a picture!! maybe someone is feeding them stale bread or something.
dont be surprised when you see a sign onborad saying
"please do not feed the birds"!!!

A visitor from Poland posted Mon June 19, 2006:
Maybe yes or maybe no - I was freaked out when I saw this photo for the first time. Take a look at the birds: I think they were also freaked out...

A visitor from Romania posted Sun June 11, 2006:
I think the birds are actually much further from the plane, so it's an optical illusion thus no birds were injured during this photo and the plane got away...i think

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed June 7, 2006:
God i Luv the BIG 'bird'

A visitor from United States posted Mon June 5, 2006:

A visitor from Malaysia posted Fri May 5, 2006:
How many do you think got sucked in?? :P

Great picture man. I wonder what the people inside were thinking...

A visitor from Malaysia posted Wed May 3, 2006:
Many of those birds will require a go around... Hopefully not the BA. :P

A visitor from - posted Wed January 11, 2006:
I think that it is a good shot because it is very unusual to see a bunch of birds right next to a plane when it is taking off.

A worst nightmare coming tru for BA pilots....anyways coolest of the cool shot!!!

A visitor from United States posted Tue November 8, 2005:

A visitor from Australia posted Tue October 4, 2005:
Uh-oh! was it a bird strike???

A visitor from United States posted Fri August 19, 2005:
The awesome rarity of the photo assuming that every one ended up being alright. Although, I'm sure a few birds did not make it but this is certainly something I never would be able to see with out your site.

A visitor from Hungary posted Thu November 25, 2004:
It's really a unique pic, with the birds, I've never seen a photo like this.
