What a beautiful night scenes of Kai Tak Intl. Airport and it surroundings. After seven year Kai Tak closed it make a lot of change, a tall buildings have been built around the IGS area and even the eastern part of Hong Kong Island. Airport tower, terminals, and car park building have been pull down, except the only one left near the airport hotel. The famous Checkerboard Hill near Kowloon Tsai Park and Chinese Christian Cemetery Hill can be seen. Photo dedicate to all Kai Tak lovers and spotters.

I think this airport was one of the most interesting, and also was one of the most nasty (for the neighbourhood, who must suport all these aircraft noise), and also was very dangerous, but now is closed. It's history.
