Remark Photographer
F-WWDD (cn 004) First Flight Deck shot of Delta Delta. A very roomy cockpit (taken with 16mm) and you have to climb stairs to get in. Like in the A346 you have a tail camera (see the center display and on the F/O side)

A visitor from United States posted Thu December 8, 2005:
The bigger they are, the simpler the cockpit! Nice shot.
Does the captain have to be left handed? (8^))

A visitor from Canada posted Thu December 8, 2005:
It is very up close

A visitor from United States posted Wed December 7, 2005:
Wow it is the dream of all pilots who loves big whales and pc programmers but the nightmare of the pilots who really love to fly with thousand of clock in the panel deck

A visitor from Germany posted Tue December 6, 2005:
It's been a while since I've been in the cockpit of a large commercial jet, and I'm astonished at how much they've changed. The instrumentation is much cleaner, with many very cool new features. Can't wait to fly one! ;-)

A visitor from United States posted Sun December 4, 2005:

Really good shot of the brand-new A380 cockpit. Nice oversized nav/multifunction screens!

A visitor from Australia posted Sat December 3, 2005:
Just awesome. I especially like the new design joystick compared to the old centre steering wheel.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu December 1, 2005:
Great pic! Yes, the tail camera is to help with taxiing, and i suppose it's a great advantage for engine fires, to check the damage.

A visitor from Switzerland posted Thu December 1, 2005:
Hello Señor visitor from Spain :-)
Well, I think the tail cam is for showing the passengers departure, landing and the aircraft in flight. In the A320 of Swiss Int. Airlines, they use the cam for that...:)

A visitor from Canada posted Thu December 1, 2005:
I like how you can see the tail of a fighter jet and other details through the red screens :)

A visitor from Brazil posted Thu December 1, 2005:
Amazing pic! This is really a great plane!!

A visitor from Spain posted Wed November 30, 2005:
Can anyone tell me what's the tail camera for?

A visitor from United States posted Wed November 30, 2005:
I can see the T-50 Golden Eagle through the windshield. And that's the roomy cockpit that I'm talking about.

A visitor from United States posted Wed November 30, 2005:

The office of my dreams...

A visitor from United States posted Wed November 30, 2005:
Great shot but I gotta say, even with all the room of the fly by wire joystick, I still prefer the Boeing route of having a yoke. I wonder what the rest of the right handed captains think about having to fly left-handed.

A visitor from Switzerland posted Wed November 30, 2005:
Fabulous, airbus engineers are really the best!

A visitor from Sweden posted Wed November 30, 2005:
I have never seen that great pic in a cocpit

A visitor from United States posted Wed November 30, 2005:

A visitor from Brazil posted Wed November 30, 2005:
Beautiful photograph!! Looks very confortable. Wonder if that was taken in some kind of airshow, you can see that there are some fighterplanes reflected on those sun covers....

Wow, soo clean and new. Can't wait to fly this bird!!!

A visitor from Germany posted Wed November 30, 2005:
