Overview of Heathrow around midday, taken from Easyjet 737 G-IGOX en-route back into STN - I couldn't believe my luck that I got such clear skies below! See if you can spot Concorde! Note how few aircraft there are around T1 in comparison to T3/T4, and how few runway activities there are - a 747 has just vacated 27R and there are some "heavies" taxying to 27L from the south side only. You can see the very muddy Terminal 5 construction area in between 09L and 09R. [Canon EOS-300D, EF-S 18-55mm]

As an ex B747 captain it is nostalgic to see the airport that I used to fly into for many years. It's not often thay you get a view like this.
