A visitor from Japan posted Fri May 25, 2007: Oh yes, a typical day in Diego Garcia. DGAR (as we called it) is a great place to live... at least for a year. Lots of experiences with the P-3s there. The fit is not tight at all. The runway is over 12,000 ft long. That being said, if you do overshoot or undershoot the runway, you will get wet! Outstanding photo!
