Aircraft Taken at More: American Airlines More: McDonnell Douglas MD-82 (DC-9-82) More: In Flight More: USA - Illinois, March 6, 2005 Remark Photographer N295AA (cn 49307/1228) On base with a wonderful view of the "Windy City" Chicago & its famous Lake Shore Dr. Skyline. Among the world's tallest bldgs shown here are Sears Tower, Aon Center & John Hancock. The Navy pier with its spherical structures protrudes into Lake Michigan. Behind the wingtip is Northerly Island where Meigs Airfield used to be. Above it is Soldiers Field. Midway Airport (MDW) is left of hwy 55 w/c is the prominent linear feature here.
