N1042V (cn 15942) Sadly, this the only picture of this ex Pan Am aircraft in the database. Clipper Morning Star, later Clipper Polynesia. Manufactured in 1949, retired in 1960. For whatever reason, the airplane is still listed in the FAA database in 2005.Things have changed since 1969: That's my car in the photo, and I didn't drive through any gates or pass any checkpoints to pull right up to the airplane.

Nice historical picture of MHV Airport. And not to forget the Chrysler Imperial in front of the Stratocruiser - real classic worth a lot of money today, 2005!
