I may be rating this shot to high. this is my first visit to the site but i am such a plane nut that i don't know if i have ever seen a bad shot !! but i do think this is a good photo. it kind of makes you feel you are there. i landed in newfundland in winter many year ago and it looked a bit like this but it was snow not fog or mist. beautiful. |

Love the surreal look - I can imagine MUC is an island surrounded by calm seas.

An aviator's dream. Strong horizontal elements (trees, glowing terminal) peek out of the mist and are balanced by the runway lighting. The fog gives it a dreamlike quality. The departing aircraft is a bonus. You also can't discount how the wedge of the trees and the holes in the clouds add to the quality of the composition. Beautifully executed. |
