River Visual runway 1. Past the airport on the other side of the Potomac River is prohibited airspace P-56; the airport is very close. Departing and arriving aircraft on the north side of the airport stay over or west of the River to avoid that airspace. Left to right you can see the Lincoln Memorial, some Smithsonian buildings, the Jefferson Memorial, the White House, and the National Monument.
