(can you get me a tour in the airport?) - And as an American stationed near Kaiserslautern, what an exceptional job the Germans did with the FIFA World Cup this year. It was such a blast, and all went without a hitch. Props to Germany for such a great job! | |

I don't know about the number of planes being at the airport at the same time, but a large number of aircraft have been involved in the Berlin Airlift after WWII (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berlin_Blockade for more info on that issue), lots of them bound for Tempelhof. | |
