I hiked my way up the hills to take this picture on a lazy friday morning while the mist is still hanging around a bit in the mountains. It's looking so serene. At a moment like this it's hard to imagine that so many breathtaking aviation pictures were taken at this little airfield.

A visitor from Germany posted Thu January 3, 2008: Not only breathtaking pictures but braethtaking moments. I remember a take off in a Cheyenne in IFR weather when the geardoors wouldn't close after take off, impeding the performance by quite a bit and sweating it out over the mountains ahead.
