Remark Photographer
A snow covered Kittila Airport. It never really gets light in this part of the world in winter because it's well north of the Arctic Circle. The control tower is fittingly decorated like a christmas tree. I spent a week in Yllas visiting Santa and playing in the 40cm deep snow! I was here to catch my flight home to Manchester, TOM3838 which was delayed 4 hours due to airport congestion. Taken handheld (Canon 350D + Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM)

Looks very Lappish winter - but they do get plenty of light in summer, when the sun hardly sets at all.
