Heartbreaking to see all that go to waste! Do you think they're available for adoption? I'd love to take home one of the A-4's or T-38's, if only I had a place to park it. Love the way the angle and focal length emphasize the difference in size, particularly of the A-37's juxtaposed with the C-5's.

Oh my god, there's some A-4's. Now I'm gonna cry. Anyway very nice photo!

Can you imagine how much money has been thrown away in the desert just in this photo?! Oh God, and they are talking about economy crisis!!!

I like this photo. I didn't know that the Armed Forces had that many planes.

A visitor from Spain posted Thu December 31, 2009:
Impressive, but also some thoughts of money spent the wrong way... the U2 is behind the KC-135 in the first row.

A visitor from Israel posted Thu December 31, 2009:
It's a either a WB-57 or a RB-57D, not a U-2.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed December 30, 2009:
Very impressive to see these aircrafts together. The U-2 is in the right corner behind the KC-135s.

A visitor from Canada posted Wed December 30, 2009:
Nice shot. I think the U-2 that was initially referred to is a Canberra near the bottom left.

A visitor from United States posted Wed December 30, 2009:
There are no U-2s at Davis Monthan. The plane you are refering to is an RB-56.

A visitor from - posted Wed December 30, 2009:
Love this photo! The plane near lower left corner looks like a B-57 Canberra, not an U-2.

A visitor from United States posted Wed December 30, 2009:
There's a U2 (sans Bono) in the lower left>

A visitor from United States posted Wed December 30, 2009:
The U-2 is just behind the 2 KC-135 refuelers in the lower right corner! I love the photos of the boneyard!

A visitor from New Zealand posted Wed December 30, 2009:
I thnk has was meaning the streched wing cambera behind the KC135s

A visitor from - posted Wed December 30, 2009:
WOW!, the C-5 looks gigantic comparedtotherestof the aircraft....and its not a U2, its a WB-57

A visitor from - posted Wed December 30, 2009:
Very impressive indeed---I think he means the B-57

A visitor from Belgium posted Wed December 30, 2009:
The U-2 is on the bottom-right, behind the air2air-tankers ;)

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Wed December 30, 2009:
The airplane that looks like a U-2 may be a B-57 Canberra, but the wing span (and shape) is still confusing...

A visitor from Netherlands posted Wed December 30, 2009:
Interesting picture. I fail to locate the U-2 but still an impressive collection of aircraft.

A visitor from - posted Wed December 30, 2009:
