Located in the National Park Tortuguero, this is by far one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited in my life. Looking down runway 33, on the right side is the Caribbean Ocean, on the left is the canal with on the opposite side the resorts. This airstrip isn't separated by anything and so I decided to drink my water on the middle of the runway, no problem at all! The airport is served in the mornings by a Twin Otter, but I haven't gotten it on photo, we were too busy photographing baby turtles!!

There's nothing better than standing on the tarmac looking all the way down the runway in the fresh morning. It's shots like these that I want to take off right away but land right afterwards because I cant decide which I like better: land or air!
Tremendous shot.

It looks like Dili, East Timor, except the fact that in the end of the runway it was the sea...full of crocs!
