"March of the tiny airplanes!" During JFK's busiest times it's a constant bed of aircraft movements around the airport. The Aeroflot A330 just landed and is heading to the gate, as are the American 767 and American Eagle CRJ, having just landed on 22L. The two Delta, biz jet and Air France 777 are heading to the other side of the airport to depart on 22R.

This photo looks like it could be part of a 1:400 scale diorama of JFK. Does look like a bad place to work and be a controller.

Very nice capture of one of the world's worst airports, at least from an ops perspective. I'd hate to think how crowded with traffic this photo would be if it were taken around 7pm.

Great photo, but I think the AA 762 and the Eagle CR7 are actually headed for departure, since the AA/AE terminal is right there in the photo and they're headed in the opposite direction. ;).
