Unbelivable! It is amazing how this photo has braught together people from diffrent ethnic backgrounds to leave such moving and caring commetns. I just think that flying a plane trough the lights that resembel the towers is kind of unthaughtful, Also id like to thank airliners.net for letting you share this with us as no details what so ever are know of the plane and neither is the plane viewable but they would be sad to say no so well done A.net and well done dna!

These memorial spotlights remind me that 9/11 didn't happen on TV, it wasn't some Hollywood movie that was staged, it happened for real, right here. People were alive on those planes. People live and work near ground zero. What a sad day that will live on forever. We will all remember exactly where we were when this happened, just like those who can relate to Kennedy's assassination. May the victims rest in peace.

With this picture I remember that day so vividly. Almost 6 years ago, I was in 5th grade, and very calmed, my gym teacher told the class that a horrible thing had happened. That the twin towers were struck. I just couldn't believe it, until I saw it on TV. I wanted to help all those people, all I could do was pray, and I did. 5 stars and a Sun. God Bless from Puerto Rico - United we Stand.

This photo speaks a story, with looking at it for just a second, I get that feeling of the massive terror and huge world changing day that happened on 9/11/01. I was only 11 at the time and it was just two weeks before I was going to America for the first time. It just makes me feel all those things I did on that day and even though I'm not American, I still cried and mourned with the people who lost family members and it is something that changed my mind on how life is so special when I was younger. God bless America x

Apart from the astonishing picture, there is more behind it.
It was 10 years ago, I can remember it as it was Yesterday... I was just a 8 year old kid watching his favourite cartoons on TV, when suddenly all transmissions were interrupted to give us the terrible news. It was a shock... see those aircraft crashing into the twin towers. Very sad. :'(

Indeed, this is another example of the cruelty of the man... but really, I'm still unable to understand why such things can happen.
Why killing lots of innocent people...
Why having such a taste for the violence...
...Why...

Anyway, I'd like to share my thought for those people killed in the terroristic act, as well as for their family.
Rest in peace.

Wonderful tribute shot on the 10th anniversary. I won't forget where I was on that horrible day. I was 16 at the time and was a junior in high school. The school year had just started. For me, it was just like any other day - get up; get dressed; eat breakfast; and go to school. However, my parents told me the news when I woke up and I saw the events unfold throughout the day in every class I was in. God bless the souls who survived and died on that dreadful day.
