Extensively expanded in 1976, this is the still the original Jersey Airport terminal building erected in 1937. The Channel Islands were occupied by the Germans during WWII and this was their command HQ. Liberated by the British in 1945, the airport continued to expand. In 1997 a brand-new building was added (out of shot) to handle departing passengers. This building continues to serve all arriving passengers to this marvellous island.
