When I was a 19 year old pilot I did a nav to Hamilton Island from Sydney in a Seneca 1. 7.5hrs flight time. This photo brings back great memories.

I flew in there on a Jetstar airbus 21 in Nov 05 on the way to Hayman Island. This is a fabulous part of the Whitsunday Is.

Good finals shot. I landed here in a tropical storm with cyclone brewing after 3 attempts in a B737. Yes it was hairy!!

Home sweet home, well nearly.
Doubt you could get an A320 into Shute Harbour though.
Nice photo as well, the colours seem very vibrant.
