This ia a view from the hill over the Portland Naval Air Station which was a very active helicopter base. In this photograph I count 21 helicopters, 8 Westalnd Wasps, 12 Westland Lynx and 1 Westland Wessex. Portland remains open for the local HM Coastguard unit.
