A visitor from Brazil posted Sat November 15, 2008:I've counted (not included three planes placed far away of RWY12): 22 MD-80, 24 B727, 5 Douglas DC-8, 1 B757, 3 B747, 2 B737, 12 L-1011, 3 DC-10 and 3 MD-11. The Widget colors broke my heart!
A visitor from United States posted Mon May 19, 2008:There's four of my Kitty Hawk birds... so sad... Nice photo! I can't believe those MD11's are still sitting there - and one in WIDGET colors too!!!!
A visitor from United States posted Mon May 19, 2008:I didnt think American was retiring MD-80s yet also I didnt know Kitty Hawk was getting rid of their 727s and Ups has two of their 727s painted in the new livery... what a waste of money!! sad to see those aircraft in that state !
A visitor from - posted Mon May 19, 2008:As a current American Airlines employee, seeing 24 AA MD-80's waiting for the "Junkman" really is a sad sight! Most if not all are the ex-TWA aircraft that AA put down I'm sure.
A visitor from United States posted Mon May 19, 2008:I would love some of those planes to have a small airline. So sad. Can we buy some?
A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon May 19, 2008:Also a lot of AA MD-80's! Great photo indeed, thanks.

A visitor from Ireland posted Mon May 19, 2008:That little ups 727 in the top left is sexy!
A visitor from United States posted Mon May 19, 2008:Sooo many beautiful planes! this photo makes me really sad knowing most of these planes will likely never fly again, wish i could get a hold of a few and restore them to their former glory!
A visitor from United States posted Mon May 19, 2008:Good grief, look at all the AA MD80s back there. I had no idea they had already gotten rid of so many planes. And those Delta MD11s, too! Oh, a very sad scene.
A visitor from United States posted Mon May 19, 2008:I'll take an L1011, couple'a 727s, and maybe a nice MD80 please. :)
A visitor from France posted Mon May 19, 2008:What a strange runway, surrounded by approx 86 aircrafts!!! I guess UFO are using this one because no human would take-off or land there...a very strange field...Roswell...
A visitor from Poland posted Mon May 19, 2008:Very sad, because planes are happiest in the air!
A visitor from Portugal posted Mon May 19, 2008:It breaks my heart.... :(:(:(
A visitor from France posted Mon May 19, 2008:Oh my god! a kind of photo like this, with all those beautiful jets that lived years ago is sooooo hurting! it's sad.
A visitor from United States posted Mon May 19, 2008:Please tell me the jets are not parked right next to runway 12!!!
A visitor from - posted Sun May 18, 2008:The DC-8 turns 50 at the end of May, and our UPS Dispatch paper said UPS has 46, of which 40 were still flying. I count 5 airframes here and then I would guess the last frame is the one that caught fire a year or two ago. Cool photo cause I was trying to figure out where the other airframes were at!!
A visitor from United States posted Sun May 18, 2008:Sad to see all those ATA L-1011's parked. They will be missed. Great photo...brings back some memories of the good ol days!
A visitor from United States posted Sun May 18, 2008:They parked the 727s right next to the UFO.
