As an I.A. I've had to work under the panels of many complex aircraft, getting in and back out is a test any contortionist would be challenged with repairing broken instruments and controls. Great shot, fjwrench

I really love cockpit photos, even because this is the nearest sight of it I'll ever see. I wanted to become a pilot but sadly I'm too short!

Nice to see the instrument layout. As a pilot, I would be interested in seeing an even larger picture, with more detail.

Public seldom gets to see the "work environment" as we en- or de-plane; and, certainly the days of the public being invited by the cockpit crew to visit either while waiting at the gate or at flt. altitude, are long gone. This gives a hint of the excitement and magic many of us imagines exists "up front."

Such pronounced detail of all the entire cockpit and instruments. This definitely gives the viewer an idea of how complicated the md's are to fly

A visitor from United States posted Sat August 20, 2005:
What a machine!!!! So awesome!!!! So detailed. How could anyone remember what all this does and all the sequences? Incredibly sophisticated, this picture does a good job showing how much controls are in one of these big birds.
