A visitor from Switzerland posted Thu October 20, 2005: Checking the original postcard "DO-X-Landing on the Lake of Zurich-November 1932" (Edition Weltbild Olten 2000) I must admit that my indicated date "1924" cannot be correct, just because the "Maiden flight" was on 12th July 1929! A visitor from Switzerland posted Thu October 13, 2005: A very authentic and impressive perfect timepiece of the technical avantgarde and the luxurious way of travelling of the "happy few" in the 20ies.(3 Decks, Smoking Saloon, Bar, Sleeping Department etc.) Same plane landed on the Lake of Zurich in Switzerland in 1924. My father was a witness then when he was 18. The roar of the 12 engines must have been overwhelming for that time.Postcards of the extraordinary event were printed and are on sale until today!
