I'm a FS2004 Simmer and love the older prop airliners. just downloaded a L188A but the panel (cockpit) that came with is not worthy of this beauty. Love your site has been in my favs since my nephew found you all. Keep up your usual quailty!!
A visitor from United States posted Mon June 16, 2008: Great photo. To the person who mentioned Zantop, I remember Zantop coming into our SAC base in the early '80s, Carswell in Fort Worth Texas. I remember thinking what a beautiful aircraft it was. Whenever it came in, we would drop what we were doing and go check it out. One time when they were leaving empty, we asked them to do a max performance take-off...and they did! They put our bombers and tankers to shame. I swear it looked like it was climbing steeper than a 45% angle. Really impressive. By the way, the co-pilot looked like he was about 18 years old. Must have been the owner's son.
