N93119 / 17119 (cn 20083/153) Seen lifting off runway 24L routing LAX-LHR. First flight was August 18, 1971. Delivery date was October 27, 1971. Other serials - 5-288 with IRIAF Iranian Air Force. Sadly, W/O July 17, 1996 as TWA Trans World Airlines as N93119 operating TWA 800 heavy JFK-CDG. Aircraft center fuel tank exploded climbing thru FL150 off coast of Long Island, New York with 230 fatalities - r.i.p. This photo is dedicated to those that perished on that flight.

Aircraft: N93119 (741). Route: JFK-CDG. 212 Passengers & 18 Crew Members. At around 8:31 p.m., few minutes after take off, the plane's fuel tank sparked and exploded in mid-air off Long Island. The plane disintegrated and plunged into the Atlantic Ocean.
