 A visitor from Ecuador posted Tue July 3, 2007:It’s a spectacular photo, Ray. As you can see, grass is dry because of the summer; normally is deep green. Actually, Quito is surrounded by 7 volcanoes; three of them have perpetual snow. After Mount Blanc and Mount Kilimanjaro, Cotopaxi, close to Quito (which snowed base appears back in the photo), is the third most climbed mountain in the world. No matter how many times you do it: landing in Quito is a complete experience. | |
