ZK-NBV (cn 26910/1180) Inaugural flight from Auckland. Welcome to SFO! Here's a unique perspective of the "Lord of the Rings". 9 minutes after touching down on runway 28R it is only seconds away from docking onto Int'l Terminal G gate 93. Note attentive ground crew with all eyes on her. While on short finals minutes earlier someone requested the Control Tower for a flyby to allow photographers an opportunity to shoot pictures but before anyone could reply an ANZ crewmember promptly but courteously responded, "Air New Zealand is going to land." Good point. Avgas is soooo expensive nowadays! Photo taken at 11:51AM
