Look directly to the right of the tower- I think that's the airborne plane

Nice pic, not sure though if that Song bird is airborne, if so it is really low and tight in the patern. More lickly just taxing to the gate.

Notice the airborne Song 757 just below and to the right of the terminal and just above the water line.

LGA: The current site of the airport was originally used by the Gala Amusement Park. It was razed and transformed in 1929 into a 105-acre private flying field. The airport was originally named Glenn H Curtiss Airport and later called North Beach Airport.
