A visitor from Jordan posted Sat June 19, 2010: Nice pic, not sure though if that Song bird is airborne, if so it is really low and tight in the patern. More lickly just taxing to the gate.

Home Alone 2: Lost In New York LaGuardia by member September11 LGA: The current site of the airport was originally used by the Gala Amusement Park. It was razed and transformed in 1929 into a 105-acre private flying field. The airport was originally named Glenn H Curtiss Airport and later called North Beach Airport.
