N741NA (cn 72002) The number 2 Rotor Systems Research Aircraft undergoing maintenance in a hangar at the NASA Ames Research Center. The RSRA was developed to allow the in-flight measurement of helicopter rotor characteristics. The RSRAs could be fitted with TF34 turbofans and wings to allow compound helicopter configurations to be experimentally investigated in-flight.
