G-MAYA / 64 (cn 394912) An appropriate registration - 'Maya' being the NATO code-name for the L-29 Delfin. The nose landing gear doors are almost closed in this early gear up take off. This aircraft was destroyed on the 18th August 2000 during 'Airbourne 2000' an airshow on the sea front at Eastbourne, Sussex U.K. sadly killing the pilot.
