A visitor from United States posted Fri October 24, 2008: The stock car driver Bobby Allison of the famous Allison family flew an Aerostar to all of his races. He upgraded and installed the engines himself. Allison's Aerostar is now in the International Motorsports Hall of Fame at Talladega Super Speedway in Alabama.
A visitor from United States posted Mon July 16, 2007: #1) I own an Aerostar and I love to look at them, #2)This is a great photo angle for the bird on the ground: 11 o'clock and just slightly high, 3) The background sets off the plane very well and finally the paint scheme does not detract from the beautiful lines as many paint schemes do.
