A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu March 2, 2006: Beautifull photo! . In the botton-left , the adjacents terminals 1,2,3 . In the middle , the new Terminal 4 Satellite . Terminal 4 doesn't appear in this photo . More satellite terminals will be built , between runaways . If you look closely you will see the entrances of several underground roads and tunnels , that runs below the 4 runaways , ready for connecting aditional satellite terminals to the airport complex. In January 2006 , MAD Barajas surpass AMS Schiphol in passenger number, making MAD the 4th busiestin Europe . Some say that because congestion at FRA , MAD will also surpass FRA soon.
