A visitor from Japan posted Wed February 3, 2010:A very realistic photo - typical weather! A pity however that this aircraft is referred to only by numbers and not by its name - "City of Leicester". I flew in it at least twice as a small child, from Le Touquet to Lydd both times. The 2nd time may have been one of its last flights, in 1969, as it was not in evidence when I flew in 1970. I have fonder memories of "City of Aberdeen" but never mind that. | |
