Look ! There is a light on the left wing which is off !! That's strange no ?

A visitor from United States posted Sun September 27, 2009:
It feels as though even if the 747 does die, these people will continue to fly them until they break..... just like the they are doing with the 707 so I really have to say that the Middle Eastern people are fantastic at managing them and they are truly great people.

A visitor from - posted Tue April 28, 2009:
Very very nice!! The second is already compensating for the wind; a bit high though. These 743s are still flying!!! Great shot, Jid

A visitor from United States posted Tue January 6, 2009:
Tis is a fantastic shot with perfect timing!

A visitor from Portugal posted Fri January 2, 2009:
Good pic! if you look you can see a third airplane on the background inbounding too.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon July 7, 2008:
As soon as one takes off the other is landing now thats what you call busy shot

Beatiful picture

A visitor from Netherlands posted Fri March 21, 2008:
A very beautiful photo, what is the aircraft following the second PIA?

A visitor from - posted Wed March 5, 2008:
Using the full runway, almost on the centerline despite the crosswind; PIA is at it again!!!! And the lucky magician Jid is out there for us.

A visitor from - posted Mon October 29, 2007:
Love the juxta position of one taking off and the other coming into land

A visitor from United States posted Sat October 13, 2007:
This is a great picture. The quality of both 747's is excellent!

A visitor from Argentina posted Sun July 22, 2007:
Impressive image of the three airplanes

A visitor from United States posted Sat December 2, 2006:
Great shot! That other 747 does appear to be high.

A visitor from Iceland posted Thu November 30, 2006:
I love the contrast between the 2 747's and the tiny plane you can see if you peer your eyes and look hard for it on the top of the photo. The airline following PIA is Air Atlanta Icelandic.

A visitor from China posted Fri September 8, 2006:
Beautiful

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Tue August 1, 2006:
What airline is folling the PIA? GOOD SHOT

A visitor from South Africa posted Mon July 3, 2006:

A visitor from Ireland posted Wed June 7, 2006:
Congratulations in the right place at the right time. Beautiful.

A visitor from Pakistan posted Sat June 3, 2006:
This is very unique photo as two 743 in one shot, as according to my knowledge total 743s are just over 60 in the world.

A visitor from South Africa posted Sat May 20, 2006:
Perfect timing all i can say is WOW

A visitor from Canada posted Tue April 18, 2006:
Is it just me, or is the landing 747 a little high?

A visitor from United States posted Mon April 3, 2006:
Amazing. love the way you where able to catch 2 747's absolutely incredible!

A visitor from United States posted Sun April 2, 2006:
A little cross wind action?

A visitor from Mexico posted Wed March 15, 2006:
This photo has somethin´ special: If you look good, it looks that the PIA 747 is following a 747 toy model. Optical illusions, that´s the thing. T.B.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Wed March 1, 2006:
Just great

A visitor from Brazil posted Sun January 29, 2006:

A visitor from Finland posted Fri September 16, 2005:
Had to be a perfect shot as getting two 747s, one departing and one landing, in one picture from the nose angle is a seriously difficult shot to take with a very small window of opportunity.

A visitor from Netherlands posted Sun September 11, 2005:
Nice catch! Congratulations!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Thu September 8, 2005:
Is this 24(L) or 24(R)?

A visitor from South Africa posted Tue September 6, 2005:
This shot is just awesome! It's a welltimed shot taken in just the right weather to give an excelent background that does not steal the attention from the 2 planes

How did you manage to get this shot?............Nice photo & Excellent shot

A visitor from United States posted Tue September 6, 2005:
Holy smokes! Why is this photo excellent.

First of all it is timing. Capturing these two aircraft while landing and taking off is unique.

Second, no livery is apparent. Just pure aviation

I would like to know more about this photo. Bob

A visitor from United States posted Tue September 6, 2005:
Nice depth...crisp and sharp.

A visitor from Germany posted Tue September 6, 2005:
Amazing shot - the 747-300s are a very rare visitor to Airliners.net...

A visitor from New Zealand posted Tue September 6, 2005:
Nicely taken… well done… as soon as I saw this photo, it reminds me with the AIRLINERS.NET web site home page 747 – 400, on the top of the page (check it)… pretty much the same angle.

A visitor from United States posted Tue September 6, 2005:
PIA Dare-devils!! :-)

A visitor from United States posted Tue September 6, 2005:
This picture almost makes me feel as though the 747 did a touch and go and we see it frozen in time once on final and again after liftoff. A great photo, thanks.

A visitor from Poland posted Mon September 5, 2005:
The best two 747 I see

A visitor from United States posted Mon September 5, 2005:
747 indeed has a big gut!!

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon September 5, 2005:
That Jid Webb - he always seems to be at the right place at the right time for these shots! Another excellent example of his great photography.

All the best.

The Doctor.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon September 5, 2005:
Great. It kicks the A380 thought out of my mind and while I am on the subject the largest 747 is licensed to carry up to 550 passengers. They are also going to only license the 380 for 550 so what is the point!

A visitor from Finland posted Mon September 5, 2005:
An awesome moment of action.

A visitor from Norway posted Mon September 5, 2005:
Amazing! Never seen it's liken. From this point of view, it almost appears to me that the approaching jet will not be able to stop in time.

A visitor from Saudi Arabia posted Mon September 5, 2005:
Excellent shot. This aircraft is as majestic as one could be.

A visitor from Hong Kong posted Mon September 5, 2005:
There are actually 3 planes lined up in this photo :) Nice :)

A visitor from United States posted Mon September 5, 2005:
A brave shot as well as an excellent one, anyone who knows MAN and the habit of PIA 747's using most of 24L, it is usually 'do I take the shot, or do I try and run', well done Jid.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Mon September 5, 2005:
What a shot! two 747s in the same shot. When I see a 747, I change my mind about the airbus A380. I don't know why?????????

A visitor from United States posted Mon September 5, 2005:
Looks like the mama 747 is teaching her baby 747 how to fly. Great photo.

A visitor from Australia posted Mon September 5, 2005:
I can actually see three planes in this picture :)
Notice the light spot at the top of the picture.

A visitor from Venezuela posted Mon September 5, 2005:

A visitor from Australia posted Mon September 5, 2005:
ROGER. will somebody get this toy plane out of my way...

A visitor from United States posted Mon September 5, 2005:
How did you manage to get this shot?............It Is amazing how you photagraphers get theses shots. Thank You

A visitor from United States posted Mon September 5, 2005:
Three planes, in flight too, in one frame is great. Not to mention that at least two are 747s. Not just anyone can make this shot!

A visitor from United States posted Mon September 5, 2005:
Sweet shot. How long is that runway? Is the "end of the line" look a result of a macro lens?

A visitor from Mexico posted Mon September 5, 2005:
Beautiful photo

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sun September 4, 2005:
Outstanding! 2 enormous 747 aircraft but at the same time looking so wonderfully graceful. There is almost a slight unreal element to this shot.
