A visitor from Kenya posted Tue November 4, 2008: Its not suprising to see reversers deployed before the nose touches down.....they can be deployed with the aircraft 10 feet above ground, signal comes from the radio altimeter.

It would've been a little more dramatic had you waited another half second. At that point the engine/wing would've seemed to glide just over the Emb-145.
