This airplane will be delivered to Etihad, it's only stickers. Graet job from Airbus workmen. I can't wait for flying it whatever the company.

This is just a massive aircraft - the details of the underbelly is superb and those 4 engines are just awesome - move over jumbos, there's a new queen in the skies.

A visitor from United States posted Sat November 19, 2005:
I always thought the A380 to be very ugly until now. Good paint job on this one.

A visitor from Singapore posted Sat November 19, 2005:
First time seeing Emirates full livery. But don't forget Singapore Airlines is the launch customer of A380, not Emirates, even though Singapore does not receive its full livery.

A visitor from Italy posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Wonderful shot, great photographer

A visitor from Singapore posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Couldn't believe this, they even put the Emirates logo under the belly of the plane.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Just perfect!!! Shame that such a beautiful plane has such an ugly nose. 747-400 still the better looking bird in the skies

A visitor from Cyprus posted Sat November 19, 2005:
A380 real livery today

A visitor from Switzerland posted Sat November 19, 2005:
It's the first A380 in airline colours and it looks just great! Another milestone in the history of Airbus' A380!

Fantastic

A visitor from Finland posted Sat November 19, 2005:
WOW!!! Beautiful

A visitor from France posted Sat November 19, 2005:
I really prefer the 747 shape, but with this paint scheme, the awesome A380 begins to be beautiful.

A visitor from Sweden posted Sat November 19, 2005:

A visitor from Germany posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Great photo, fantastic plane!!!
Congratulations to Airbus and Emirates!!!

A visitor from United Arab Emirates posted Sat November 19, 2005:
It would have been five were it not for the gear doors being open. That is only a personal thing - great shot otherwise (sharpness, angle).

A visitor from Switzerland posted Sat November 19, 2005:
The B747 ruled the skies for last 3 & 1/2 decade, it's all over now, the newcomer is taking over ... Although the livery doesn't turn me on ...

A visitor from United Arab Emirates posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Just came back from the Jumeirah beach in Dubai. What a sight. 1h 20 min of flyby's around the Burj Al Arab. Really looking forward to fly it in 2007 when we get the first one. 1 happy EK Capt.

A visitor from Germany posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Great shot Emirates deserves it........ but i think its very chuck for emirates A380.....?

A visitor from Belgium posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Just simply beautiful ... anyone knows when these planes start to fly commercially ?

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat November 19, 2005:
I Love Emirates Airlines

A visitor from Australia posted Sat November 19, 2005:
"Emirates" certainly makes the most of the under-wing bulge for advertising. The much noted stumpiness shows just how much 'stretch' is in the airframe. So what do we end up with? A 1500 seater and perhaps an A380-800 able to fly non-stop from Melbourne to London! Overall, a great shot of what we spotters will soon become familiar with, & thanks to Emirates, an easy airline identification of their fine brand.

A visitor from United States posted Sat November 19, 2005:
A great aircraft, a great airline and a great photo, I can't wait until the A380 is in Air Canada livery.

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Godspeed! :D

A visitor from United States posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Wow!

A visitor from Australia posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Emirates Livery really makes a statement on this plane, however, I don't think that Emirates livery really suits the 'stumpier' jets but still very nice tho!

A visitor from United States posted Sat November 19, 2005:
This things not as ugly with some paint on it.

A visitor from New Zealand posted Sat November 19, 2005:
WOW this is an absolutely incredible sight!!!

A visitor from United States posted Sat November 19, 2005:
What an awesome plane, yet it actually looks alittle fat to me, but how bout that belly color scheme!

A visitor from Germany posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Lufthansa better not introduce those oversize titles. Its coulours are supposed to make it look less fat. Time has come I'd prefer see LH taking 747-8.

A visitor from Slovenia posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Love Emirates' livery on this plane!

A visitor from Japan posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Nice color

A visitor from Australia posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Just how MUCH did Emirates pay for this?? It is absolutely fantastic!!

A visitor from Canada posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Nice paint job

A visitor from Australia posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Brilliant photo - This shows how "chunky" A380 is.

A visitor from United States posted Sat November 19, 2005:
The first 380 i have seen with out the Airbus logo on its tail!!!

A visitor from France posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Nice shot, the color sheme is just perfect for this A380

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Sat November 19, 2005:
Just imagine in a few years time this will be the norm, a380s all over our heads. Amazing stuff!

A visitor from Germany posted Fri November 18, 2005:
Thats what I call a tropical bird!

A visitor from United States posted Fri November 18, 2005:
This photo is ahead of its time!

A visitor from Germany posted Fri November 18, 2005:
Huuh ... fantastic!

I fear with Lufthansa colors the A380 will look much less spectecular. Lufthansa should introduce a modified color scheme for this bird ;-)

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri November 18, 2005:
Absolutely fantastic!!! The A380 and Emirates go great together

A visitor from United Kingdom posted Fri November 18, 2005:
Absolutely fantastic photo!!! Emirates and Airbus just go together.

A visitor from Switzerland posted Fri November 18, 2005:
Great livery on a great aircraft. Airbus and Emirates perfectly know how to make good publicity!
